Need help involving and engaging parents in your school? Partners in Education can help.
We can contract with you to coordinate parent events that maximize parent attendance, evaluate parent learning and encourage greater engagement. Events can run the gamut from academic-focused family fun nights to scholarship & financial aid nights to parent cafes. We can also help manage parent volunteers, provide parent background checks and support parent organizations to maximize their success and fundraising potential.
These services meet the requirements for use of Title I Funds for Parent and Community Engagement and Community Schools.
Triple P: Positive Parenting Program is available for your school or organization.

2. ALL IN FOR KINDERGARTEN WORKSHOPS
PRESCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN PARENT/CHILD SERIES
Specialized sessions to encourage parent engagement in the development of their very young children from preschool through Kindergarten.
Parents and children learn together about Kindergarten-readiness, the Kindergarten Readiness Assessments
that schools give and the best way to prepare children for success in elementary school. At each session, families receive:
- Special toys so parents and children may work together at home on skills needed to be considered Kindergarten ready. It’s all about creating family-fun memories.
- Resources for families to take home to assist with fine and gross-motor development, social-emotional skills and academic skills
- Time to ask questions of an early childhood specialist regarding Kindergarten readiness
Thank you to Toledo Community Foundation and The Andersons for their past support of these opportunities for families. And many thanks to our partners, Family House – Toledo Area Metroparks – Toledo Lucas County Public Library, WGTE Public Media, Toledo Head Start and YWCA.
