The 2008 Festival featured extensive reporting by the local news media, including Greg Bilazarian
of event media sponsor 13 ABC.

Event staff and volunteers made the event enjoyable for team participants and the public.

Dragon Boat trivia - the Dragon heads used on the boats are removable.
