Announcing PIE’s 2016-2017 Parent University

This school year, Parent University is partnering with organizations all across Toledo to bring you news of great programming happening in your neighborhood. All programming is low-cost or no-cost. There are many learning opportunities for parents, caregivers and families.

Parents and caregivers from all area school districts, community and private schools are welcome. Call 419-242-2122 with questions. Parent University and PIE U are programs of Partners in Education. Sponsored by Toledo Public Schools.

Background Checks for School Volunteers

If you are volunteering with Toledo Public Schools or in one of Partners In Education’s programs, Partners in Education provides background checks for you to allow you to work in the schools.

Toledo Public Schools covers the cost of individuals and folks from faith-based organizations who are volunteering. Partners In Education covers the cost for volunteers in our programming.

What to do:

  • Please complete the Background Check Information Form below.
  • Partners in Education will send you a special link to complete a background check online. It’s simple, quick and can be done from any Internet-connected computer.
  • If you do not meet the requirements for a free, TPS sponsored background check, we will let you know.

Are you working with a school not in the Toledo Public School system?

We can process a background check for you as well. Just use the form below

(If you are part of a Partners in Education program, we cover your cost. For others not involved in our programming a $30 fee for a Level 2 background check will apply.)
